Vitali Has Plenty of Preaching Opportunities in Moldova

Vitali is well-known to many pastors in Moldova. Whenever he travels throughout Moldova, he is often invited to preach the Word from the pulpit. Vitali shares, "I started preaching when I was fairly young. My training that I received at a Christian college in Lithuania, prepared me well for the ministry ahead." On October 15, 2017, Vitali had an opportunity to preach at the Baptist church in Orhei.

Happy Birthday, Roman! An Opportunity to Help a Child with Autism

Tomorrow, on October 18th, our son Roman will turn 11. For us He is the greatest blessing from God that we could ever have. When Roman was 24 months old, we started noticing some problems with his development. As we learned later, he had Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by impaired social interaction, impaired verbal and non-verbal communication, and restricted and repetitive behaviour.

Roman is a sweet child that likes trains. Every week, we ride Toronto Subway and Express train to the airport. Through Roman, God opened a window for us to minister to families with children with Autism in Moldova and other developing nations. We named this avenue of our ministry "Roman's Touch." Through the years, we provided iPads, educational materials, stipends for therapy, food baskets and respite for mothers of children with Autism. We also sponsored a conference on Autism awareness.

Would you be willing to help so many children in Moldova and beyond in honour of Roman?

$11 will provide for 2 sessions of therapy for a child with Autism.

$22 will provide one food basket for a family with Autistic child.

$111 will cover the entire month of speech and motor skills therapy for one Autistic child.

$222 will provide one tablet PC and several developmental programs for a child with Autism

Donate on-line here. Place "Turlac Mission" into a designated ministry box.

Thank you, and may the Lord bless you as together we make a difference in lives of children with disabilities.

To help a child with Autism, make your check to World Wide Word and designate it to Turlac Mission - Roman's Touch. Mail your donation to: World Wide World, Attn: Turlac Mission Account, 24162 Rochester Lane, Aldie, VA 20105.

God's Work in Moldova Continues Because of Faithful Missionaries

Serghei from Moldova (on the right) pastors a church of about 30 members in Orhei, a town of 50,000 people. He does mission work in neighbouring villages. In August 2017, we preached at the tent that Serghei set up for evangelistic services in town. An advantage of a national missionary is that he speaks Romanian/Russian, knows Moldavian culture and is there to stay. Help us support national missionaries!

Helping One Child at a Time: Yegor from Moldova

"Roman's Touch" is a ministry to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other severe conditions (and their families) in Moldova and the former Soviet Union. This ministry avenue grew out of our own experience of raising our son Roman who has Autism. It taught us to be extra loving and caring toward children with disabilities and moved us to help families of disabled children.

We offer to families counseling, materials related to research in the domain of ASD, tablet PCs for children with educational programs as well as stipends for them to attend therapy. We also provide food baskets and funds for occasional outings (respite) for parents of children with ASD.

Your support helps Yegor, 9 from Moldova (in the middle) attend therapy and learn basic skills that will help him in life.
